なんて素敵なやり取りなんだ。
そうさ、会社で、ロードマップに関わる仕事にかかわっていると、ときどきチェシャ猫の気持ちになる。
ロードマップに関する研究をしているケンブリッジ大のPhaal博士(*1)は、にこやかに笑いながらこんな風に言う。
「ロードマップはコミュニケーション・ツールです。行為としてのロードマップ、すなわちロードマッピングがもっとも大事なのです。そしてロードマッピングとは、結局、次の3つについて関係者の意識を共有することです。
それは、
・Whare are we now?
・Where we want to go?
そして
・How we get there? です。」(超訳)
休憩時間に未来工学研究所のR&D戦略センター長の上野さんと話をした。
上野さん曰く、
「3つの中で本当に難しいのは、いまどこにいるか、ということですよ。それがなかなかきちんと言えない。どこに行くとか、どうやって行くとかは、どこにいるかがわかっていればそんなに難しくはない。新幹線で大阪にと言ったって、もしかして奄美大島にいるかもしれない。どこにいるかということをきちんと考えること、これが大切なのです。」
確かにその通りだ。
